I'm sending my three most used Bread machine recipes. First, this one is my

teenage son's favorite for lunches packed for school.

Honey Whole Wheat

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1/3 cup water

1/2 cup milk

1/4 cup honey

1 lg egg

1 tbsp butter -- cut into pc

2 cups bread flour

1 cup whole wheat flour

1 1/3 Tablespoons vital wheat gluten -- (1 T + 1 t)

2 tsp salt

2 1/4 tsp SAF yeast -- or 2 3/4 Tsp bread machine yeast

 

Place all ingredients in bread pan according to manufacturer's direction. Set

crust on Medium and program for Basic cycle. Press Start.

 

When the cycle is done, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it

on a rack. Cool to room temp before slicing.
