Guest guest
Hi, I just downloaded the DVO trial version of the cook'n recipe organizer. It says that it will import recipes in Master Cook format. I have so many recipes from this list and I would like to save some of my favorites to this database and print them to index cards. I haven't been able to do it. I wrote DVO an e-mail, and they replied promptly, but I don't think they understood what I was trying to do. Does anyone have this software and know how to import these e-mailed recipes directly. I really don't want to have to retype them. Does anyone have any suggestions on a better software to use? I haven't actually purchased this one yet, and if there is something that might work better out there, I'd like to try it. Thanks in advance for any advice! Guest guest
Thanks for the input Ann. It sounds like you prefer the Mastercook software. The main reason the DVO software looked appealing to me was that you could print to 3x5 index cards. I am not sure if you can do this with Mastercook. Can you? The web site doesn't say. The other thing that looked appealing was the PDA compatibility. I still haven't been able to get that to work either. Are you able to import the recipes from this list into Mastercook easily? Thanks again for the help! Stephanie
