Guest guest Posted November 15, 2002 Report Share Posted November 15, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * Spaghetti Marinara Recipe By :Jo Ann Shirley Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : pasta send Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 tablespoons olive oil 1 clove garlic--crushed 2 pounds tomatoes--peeled and seeded 2 tablespoons chopped parsley 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil salt and pepper 3/4 pound cooked spaghetti 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Saute' the garlic in the oil for about two minutes. Add tomatoes and break up with a fork. Blend well with the garlic. Sprinkle with parsley and basil. Add salt and pepper to taste and cook, uncovered, over a low heat for about one hour, stirring occasionally. Put cooked spaghetti in a baking dish and mix well.
