Feta and Olive Pita Nachos

1 5- to 6-inch pita loaf

3 ounces feta cheese -- crumbled or grated (about 1/2 cup)

1/3 cup Kalamata or other brine-cured black olives -- pitted and

chopped coarse

1 teaspoon sesame seeds

 

Preheat oven to 350 F.

 

Halve pita horizontally and quarter each round. In a shallow baking pan arrange

pita triangles, rough sides up, and sprinkle with feta and olives. Sprinkle

nachos with sesame seeds and pepper to taste and bake in middle of oven 10

minutes, or until golden. Makes 8 nachos, serving 2. May be doubled.
