Herbed Cherry Tomatoes Over Pasta

12 ounces uncooked bow tie pasta

1/4 cup chopped fresh basil

1/3 cup balsamic vinegar

1/4 cup defatted low-sodium chicken/veg broth

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cups cherry tomatoes -- cut in half

 

1. Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat; drain.

 

2. Combine basil and next 3 ingredients; pour over pasta. Add cherry tomatoes,

and toss gently.
