Guest guest Posted June 14, 2002 Report Share Posted June 14, 2002 with veggies and less oil -- this would be an easy salad! rossi pasta is the kind that cooks in 2 to 3 minutes * Exported from MasterCook * Cold Sesame Noodles Recipe By :Rossi Pasta, Marietta, Ohio Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Pasta Salad Vegetarian Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- DRESSING: 1/3 cup vegetable oil or extra-virgin olive oil 1/4 cup tamari soy sauce 2 tablespoons sesame oil 1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger 4 chopped scallions with tops -- (4 to 6) 1/4 teaspoon pepper flakes or chile oil -- may double 12 ounces classic linguini Bring 4 quarts water to a rapid boil. Mix dressing ingredients and adjust seasoning. Cook linguini according to package instructions. Drain and immediately run under cold water until thoroughly cooled; drain well and toss with dressing. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and /or shredded red cabbage and/or thinly sliced radishes. VARIATION: Add lightly steamed broccoli or snow peas.
