Rice Milk

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 cup cooked brown rice

4 cups water

1 teaspoon vanilla extract -- (optional)

 

MAKES 4 CUPS. PREPARATION TIME: 5 MINUTES. COOKING TIME: NONE (COOKED

RICE NEEDED)

 

A milk substitute to use on cereal or in cooking. Store in the

refrigerator; it lasts five days.

 

Place the rice in the blender with the water and vanilla (if desired) and

process until thoroughly liquefied.
