Guest guest Posted May 9, 2002 Report Share Posted May 9, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * Cracked Wheat Bread Recipe By :n/a Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 1/4 cup hot water 1/2 cup cracked or Bulgur wheat 1 1/2 teaspoon yeast 1 1/2 cup bread flour 1 cup whole wheat flour 2 tablespoon gluten 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoon vegetable oil 1 tablespoon honey Heat water to boiling, and add cracked or Bulgur wheat. Set it aside to cool. When the water and cracked wheat is cooled to lukewarm, add it to the bread pan with the remaining ingredients in the order recommended by your machine's manufacturer. Process on the Wheat cycle. This recipe yields a 1 1/2 pound loaf.
