Break the broccoli into bite-sized flowerets. Peel the stems and slice them into 1/2-inch thick rounds. Steam until just tender, about 5 minutes. 2. While the broccoli is steaming, whisk the dressing ingredients in a serving bowl. Add the steamed broccoli and toss to mix. Serve immediately. TIP - Broccoli stems are delicious and nutritious. Peel and cook them along with the broccoli, or use them raw in salads for delicious, crunchy texture. TIP - Did you know that a large stalk of broccoli contains 5 grams of protein and 150 mg of calcium? It’s also a good source of beta carotene and folic acid.
