It was really good and I served it with a salad (I love mesclun combinations and use them a lot). Cover with boiling water. Cover and let stand for 20 minutes. Recipe originally from The Pride of Peoria: Recipes and Reminiscences, The Jr League of Peoria, IL Reprinted in America's Best Recipes, 1988, Oxmoor House, Inc. , ISBN: 0-8487-0737-0 You can do this with this recipe. Just add bulghur, cooked onions & garlic mixture to a container large enough to hold it all when cooked. Top with boiling water (2 cups or a bit more) and cover. Let stand. YES, you need two different water additions in this recipe. The ingredient list is correct. It looks strange but once you make it you will understand why.
