Keep it as a pantry item, and use it to flavor sauces, soups, and breads. Refrigerate in a zip-top plastic bag for up to six months. Sift the pulverized mushrooms so you can discard any big pieces. 1. Place mushrooms in a food processor; process 3 minutes or until finely ground. Sift mushroom powder into a bowl. Yield: 3 tablespoons.
