Guest guest Posted April 13, 2002 Report Share Posted April 13, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * Pasta with Fresh Tomato Sauce II Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Main Course No Meat Noodles/Pasta Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 4 tomatoes --(Ontario Greenhouse), diced 1/2 cup cucumber --(Ontario Greenhouse), diced 1 clove garlic --minced 1/4 cup fresh basil --chopped (or 2 T dried) 1/4 cup fresh mint --chopped (or 2 T dried) 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper 1 pound linguine --**OR** spaghetti pasta In a large bowl, combine tomatoes, garlic, basil, mint, salt and pepper; let stand at room temperature for 2 hours. In large pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta for 8 to 10 minutes or until tender yet firm. Drain and toss with sauce.
