Guest guest Posted April 11, 2002 Report Share Posted April 11, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * Cranberry Salsa Recipe By : California Home Cooking by Michele Anna Jordan Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salsas Sda-Veg-Recipes2 (AT) Egroups (DOT) Com Vegan Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 12 ounce pkg cranberries 4 serrano or jalapeno chiles -- minced 1 small red onion -- diced 1/4 cup sugar 2 tablespoons cranberry vinegar, raspberry vinegar or -- red wine vinegar 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil 1 tablespoon minced cilantro leaves 2 teaspoons minced sage leaves Kosher salt Black pepper in a mill Put the cranberries in a food processor and pulse until they are minced fine. Transfer them to a medium bowl, add the chiles and onion, and toss well. Add the sugar, vinegar, olive oil, cilantro, and sage, and toss again. Taste, and season with salt and pepper. Let the salsa rest at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before serving.
