Guest guest Posted April 4, 2002 Report Share Posted April 4, 2002 Since I am not kosher I am always a bit nervous when I adjust seasonings in recipes. I knew that garlic itself was safe but garlic powder or granulated garlic was what I was really nervous about, altho' I didn't use it in that recipe. That is what I meant. I know not to use anything with corn or beans. I don't use anything with corn these days anyway as it is high in carbs and the same with beans. I do use some soy products - the Yves Canadian Bacon and a few of their other products and the Morningstar Farms Recipe Crumbles. Other than those, I don't make too many things with beans any longer. I am glad that Passover is almost over as I am so bored cooking with matzo and eggs. I don't want to look at either one after tomorrow night. I can't wait to eat Girl Scout Cookies (very few) and Peanut Butter sandwiches (one a week - my limit - on whole wheat bread).
