Guest guest
I made this the other night for dinner. It was really good and easy. I adapted it from Vegetarian Times, don't remember which issue. * Exported from MasterCook * Saucey Italian Noodles Recipe By : RisaG, adapted from Vegetarian Times Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Main Dishes, Vegetarian Mushrooms Pasta Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 lb dried pasta -- in fun shape 1/2 cup onion -- diced 2 lg cloves garlic -- sliced 1/2 cup cremini mushrooms -- sliced thin 1 15 oz can Hunts Diced Tomatoes for Pasta 1 cup tomato puree 2 tsp dried oregano -- crumbled 2 tbsp fresh parsley -- chopped salt and pepper -- to taste Garnish: sprinkle parmesan cheese For sauce: In a large saucepan over medium heat, saute onion, garlic and mushrooms until they start to soften, about 5 minutes.
