Guest guest Posted March 30, 2002 Report Share Posted March 30, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * Honey-Glazed Carrots Recipe By :Southern Living Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:10 Categories : Carrots Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pound carrots -- cut into 1 " pieces 1 cup water 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup orange juice 2 teaspoons cornstarch 2 tablespoons butter or margarine 2 tablespoons honey Cook carrot pieces in 1 cup of boiling water with salt in a medium saucepan for 10 minutes or until tender. Drain carrots and place in a serving bowl. Stir together orange juice and cornstarch in a small saucepan until smooth. Stir in butter and honey; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 4 minutes or until thickened.
