I think the best way to cook asparagus (the thin kind, I doubt it would work with thick) is to put it in a frying pan with a little bit of olive oil and cook over high heat for a couple minutes, shaking the pan frequently, until they turn bright green (so they are still a little crunchy-I hate mush asparagus). While the spears are cooking squeeze some lemon juice into the pan. Top with plenty of fresh ground pepper and serve. Yum!
