Hi,

 

I'm new to the list and love all the great recipes!

 

I think the best way to cook asparagus (the thin kind, I doubt it would work

with thick) is to put it in a frying pan with a little bit of olive oil and

cook over high heat for a couple minutes, shaking the pan frequently, until

they turn bright green (so they are still a little crunchy-I hate mush

asparagus). While the spears are cooking squeeze some lemon juice into the

pan. Top with plenty of fresh ground pepper and serve.

Yum! Now if asparagus were only 39 cents a pound ...(sigh).
