Guest guest Posted March 27, 2002 Report Share Posted March 27, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * Apple-Date Haroset Recipe By : Vegetarian Times Vegetarian Entertaining, page 46 Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Fruits Side Dishes Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 red apples -- diced (peeled if desired) 1 cup chopped pitted dates 1 cup chopped walnuts 1/2 cup dark raisins 1/4 cup sweet Passover wine 1 tablespoon honey 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon Makes about 8 half-cup servings. Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl and blend well. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Stir the haroset before serving.
