Apple-Date Haroset

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 red apples -- diced

(peeled if desired)

1 cup chopped pitted dates

1 cup chopped walnuts

1/2 cup dark raisins

1/4 cup sweet Passover wine

1 tablespoon honey

1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

 

Makes about 8 half-cup servings.

 

Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl and blend

well. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Stir the haroset before serving.

 

Per 1/2 cup: 203 calories, 3g protein, 9g fat, 30g carbohydrates; 0mg

cholesterol, 6mg sodium, 3g fiber.
