Marinated Olives

 

Recipe By : Mark Bittman, The Minimalist columnist

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 cups assorted olives

2 cloves garlic -- peeled and lightly

crushed

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary leaves

1/2 lemon -- cut in half and

segmented like a grapefruit.

 

Toss all ingredients together in a bowl. Marinate for an hour or longer at room

temperature. Refrigerate overnight if not using immediately. (Remove from the

refrigerator an hour or two before serving.)
