Guest guest
Playing with copycat recipes today, I came up with this version of Kraft Thousand Island Dressing that comes out to 6g carb a tbsp (if there is a low carb pickle relish out there, let me know) or a bit less. I got the original recipe from Copycat Central at Kitchenlink. Thousand Island Dressing Makes 1/2 cup or so 1/2 cup mayonnaise (I used Hellmann's Light) 2 tbsp Walden Farms Calorie Free Ketchup 1 tbsp white vinegar 2 tsp Splenda 2 tsp sweet pickle relish 1 tsp white onion, finely minced 1/8 tsp salt dash pepper Mix well in a bowl. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Serve. Also, if you use dried powdered onion it would probably lower the carbs too. I'll have to try that. I originally used a spicy ketchup in the dressing and it was fabulous (Bottled Hell). ===== RisaG MK Independent Beauty Consultant radiorlg Risa's Food Service http://www.geocities.com/radiorlg Updated 03/01/02 Sports - live college hoops coverage http://sports./
