Ginger Sauce for Burritos

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 1/2 cups water

1/2 cup light soy sauce

1 two-inch piece ginger -- grated

(or 1 teaspoon ground ginger)

2 Tablespoons cornstarch

1/4 cup water

 

Combine first 3 ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat,

combine cornstarch and 1/4 cup water and add to saucepan. Simmer until

thickened.
