Black Bean Sauce for Burritos

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1/4 cup red pepper -- chopped

15 ounce canned black beans -- drained and rinsed

1/3 cup water

1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari

1/2 teaspoon cilantro -- chopped

 

In a skillet, saute the garlic and red pepper in the oil for a few minutes. Then

add beans and water. Top with soy sauce and cilantro.
