Goat's Cheese Dip w/ Herbs

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

10 ounces mild goat's cheese

1/2 cup single cream

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon fresh chives -- chopped

1 tablespoon fresh parsley -- chopped

2 tablespoons fresh basil -- chopped

black pepper

raw or briefly cooked cold vegetables -- for serving

crisps or crackers -- for serving

 

In a food processor or blender, combine the goat's cheese and cream

and process to blend. Add the lemon juice and process until smooth.

 

Scrape into a bowl. Stir in the chives, parsley, basil, and pepper to

taste. Serve cold, as a dip for vegetables, crisps, or crackers.
