Guest guest
I am really scared. water might be toxic. carrots might be toxic. carrot greens, for heaven's sake, might be toxic. beets might be toxic. if beet greens are toxic, what will happen to me? I have been eating beet greens all over the place!! I quit. I am going to become a breatharian. Oh, no... people who do that die, too. Never mind. I am just going to continue eating the food that grows. Does anyone have information on the toxicity of lentil sprouts? I think the best we can do is eat organic and raw. For most of us, the closest to pulling the food God allows us to grow from the ground or from a tree will be what we can find in an organic food market (we'll just have to trust them, won't we?) I just can't be bothered anymore with whether or not natural food is going to kill me. you will not be coming to my funeral anyway. I will do what makes sense to me. I eat the greens on anything that comes with them. I am going to trust that a reputable organic foods dealer is not going to sell me something that I could sue them for when I contract some dread disease. Recently, I was intensely shocked by one of my best friends. Okay, we don't eat the same kinds of food (her primary nutrition comes from vodka, as nearly as I can tell, and the rest comes from something that maintains high poundage) We were talking, and she told me that she does not like to eat what other people prepare because she does not know if they wash their hands. Very interesting! I know she eats meat, and I suspect she eats in restaurants, but.... when we recently attended a class together, and I suggested we pool resources, and each bring meal components, she shied away and said we should prepare our own food -- this and I was ready to eat cooked food for her!!! okay, she didn't know about the sacrifice I was prepared to make. Late in the day, she said she was hungry, after she had finished her Cheeze-Doodles.. I guess she trusts those factory workers, and I gave her some of my now-famous crackers, and she gobbled those down.. I guess she trusted my un-washed hands at that moment!) Oh! but maybe dehydrated foods are bad for us! Never mind. I really like my crackers. Fooey on anybody who says I cannot have my crackers, which fill me up just like a regular food meal would (that's why I got the dehydrator in the first place -- I have my own fast food -- once I finish dehydrating the crackers!) I *am* funny about eating out. It comes from energy work. I can not sure where the head of the person who prepares my food in a restaurant is at. I would rather avoid negativity. This helps me stay out of regular restaurants. I haven't really decided about my raw food restaurant, but I have considered offering to make a food-prep tape for them....(ha ha) Please excuse me... I am going to go and eat some beet greens with dandelion greens and carrot tops. Margaret
