Guest guest
I stumbled upon this group while searching for healthy diets. It is the first time I heard of a raw food diet so I'm eager to learn more. My nic on is Garden Gnome. I'm in my late 40's living with my husband on the edge of a small village. I'm not on a 100% raw food because I had never heard of it before however, I have always preferred raw fruits and vegetables so eat a lot of them daily. I have a large garden with small greenhouse as well. I try to use only natural solutions to garden problems so I don't use commercial pesticides or herbicides. We try to eat as healthy as possible. For us that means no fast food, no processed foods other than our home canned goods, one or more salads a day, no carbonated drinks, organic if possible and home cooked meals. Once the garden is producing, we eat a lot more vegetables so I'm always on the look-out for ideas. The summers get rather warm here too so the idea of not cooking is really welcomed. I'm looking forward to learning more about raw foods and hearing how to make the transition.
