Guest guest
Hello all you GOOD EATING Rebels ... I am new to the group. I must admit it is nice to know I am amongst people that have turned their back on the generally accepted ways of eating. I came out of the closet and pronounced myself a vegetarian 14 years ago to the shock of my family and friends. I avoided eating meat as much as possible up till then. In actual fact I had been a vegatarian since I was old enough to understand what I was eating. A long standing memory I have of not wanting to eat what the adults around me were serving up is when I was 10. I rescued a couple dozen freshly trapped lobsters plucked from the waters in New Brunswick. Realizing they were meant to be dinner I took the opportunity when everyone else in the boat was looking in the other direction of letting the little guys go free. This was the schools idea of a field trip. I rather enjoyed it after that. Look forward to hearing what others have to say on the art of eating healthy ... Take care, Maddkat
Guest guest
Good morning, Maddkat! Guess you COULD call us rebels. That's probably a very good label if we must have one. You will find all sorts of information here with agreements and disagreements. You'll have a lot of sorting out to do but the simple ways are the best!
