Guest guest
Hi all, I travel Mon-Thur for work, basically all over the United States. I'm struggling at times to have good variety while I travel. I'm wondering, do any of you have some advice or ideas for raw food that can easily travel? Any advice/recipes/tips would be wonderful! The main thing I would do is get one or two EasySprout devices from Sproutamo.com. Then you can sprout on the run easily, and have fresh sprouts to start with. If you are preparing your own meals as you travel, you might get one of those mini-chopper/ " baby " food processors -- it would be small enough to pack in a suitcase, and then you could chop up vegetables or nuts while you're on the go (I used to have one that had the attachments of a full-sized food processor -- for grating and slicing, as well as the S-blade -- maybe they still have that kind) If ypu fly, it would probably be easier to get a mini-food processor than a good kitchen knife through the scanners....) If you wanted to carry all your food with you, then you would want those " green bags " to keep vegetables fresh, as well as a cooler. Depends on how you travel (I used to travel with a car, and the backseat was my combo pantry/closet, with pretty much everything I felt I could not live without -- yes, I had a blender back there, along with all my shoes and a few changes of clothing.) Hope this helps. Margaret
