I attempted to go raw last year and lasted for 2 weeks, lost 12 pounds and felt pretty good. However, my children said I was a real bear. I am ready to give it another try and have found support here and through a local raw food meetup group. Today is my first day totally raw. I tried last week to do 2 meals a day raw and 1 regular meal and felt pretty good so I'm going to try and increase it this week to all day. I have a question regarding the rejuvelac. That is one thing I have not tried. I went to my first raw food meeting last month and everyone said it was the most important thing I had to do every day. I read books about raw food and they all talk about it. Personally, It makes me feel ill to think about drinking something that smells like yeast. I haven't made it yet so I am only going on what the people at the meeting said it smelled like. Is this really necessary? Is there something else with the same benefits. I welcome all thoughts pro and con and would love to know what the rest of you do. Thanks so much for your help and this list. Tammy V.
