Guest guest
my very typical day: smoothie for breakfast 2 bananas/cup or so of strawberries, water to thin, two handfulls of spinach, I used to use raw cacao in the, but quit doing that....I didnt realize there was that much caffeine and fat in it, so I leave it out now.... Lunch Salad Green leaf lettuce, alfalfa sprouts, snap peas, shredded carrots, sometimes peppers but have skipped them last few days.... Dinner Salad again same as before, but ad a half an avacado... This is a pretty typical day...IF I get hungry outside of that, I grab a banana occasionally or a handfull of nuts, but this is pretty rare. I was fine until just over a week ago, I havent added anything new to my diet, and I dont eat BIG meals.....I eat small meals, and they are many hours apart! I am leaning towards maybe possibly having a small ulcer or a similar disorder. But I dont know why I would all of a sudden develope one....But anything is possible. I plan to see a doctor, since I have so much pain behind the upperside of my breast bone as soon as I eat.... I just thought I would ask in here and see if anyone went through something similar...I guess my best bet would be the dr...although I am sick of DR's.. I have ben to endless doctors the last few years due to my graves disease, but never seem to get well....as soon as they cure one symptom, it seems another one pops up shortly after. I would love to find out about seeing a holistic (pardon spelling) dr, but not sure where to look for one, or if they take insurance. I have paid out so much in dr bills the last few years, that I just cant afford to pay out " that " much more, I have insurance now, and would prefer to see someone who takes insurance, but these MODERN doctors dont seem to take the time to care about their individual patients, everytime I go in, they seem in a hurry to get to the NEXT patient and dont want to take the time to listen to EVERYTHING I want to tell them... When everything got really bad last november, I was up late one night (due to cronic insomnia) and I saw this infomercial thing about raw food and this lady that was hocking her book. But, she said she cured so many of her ailments, and that made me sit up and listen. The next day I did hours of research about raw foods, and for christmas my mother got me three books on raw foods and I read them all and by the end of january I went raw. I had such good results and was finally starting to feel better, then about a month ago, it seemed like one symptom after another kept popping up.... So now I just want to beat my head against the wall at times as it is so very frustrating.. I know this has been long and I appologize, I just needed to vent a bit... If anyone has any ideas I would be open to hearing them...... Thanks for listening! SV <shavig wrote: Okay, now let's get down to what you are eating when? New Messenger with Voice. Guest guest
I know all sorts of naturopathic doctors that take insurance, the problem is the other way around! The insurance companies won't pay for us to see naturopaths UNLESS an md refers! Shari
Guest guest
I use to have some digestive problems (major pain and discomfort also unable to rest at night) and went to an holistic doctor and he put me on digestive enzymes and I did some energy work which cleared up the problem. Both very affordable. Trish Burrows P.O.
