Guest guest
Cindy, I've been on several outings with my son and his family. I'd love to get a GPS but I don't know what direction to go (no pun intended). He set up a cache in honor of my mother. http://www. geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=be8defdf-6f0d-4a53-bb83- 055f94d25473 She passed away the end of 2004 at the age of 100. Geocaching is a treasure hunt brought into the 21st century. It uses coordinates (latitude/longitude) as clues. Some of the caches are harder to find than others, and some of the terrain can be pretty challenging. It's a neat activity and you can get lots of exercise! That's a necessity for the raw food lifestyle! Tommie http://www.rawburchard.blogspot.com rawfood , " pruegert " <pruegert wrote: > > I geocache!!! It's so much fun! Guest guest
I found a GPS through Freecycle. I didn't get one for free from someone in freecycle, but someone I used to work with several years ago recognized my name and emailed me about a friend of his who was selling his. I got a great deal on it. It was still like new. The one I got retails brand new for a little over $100 (even on eBay), but he sold it to me for $45. I'll check out the cache created in honor of your mother. That's an awesome idea! Cindy Cindy, I've been on several outings with my son and his family.
