Right on, Amy!

Although sometimes you may run into the occasional 'straight arm' move from a

family member who has heard though the grapevine that you are raw. In my case

this Easter, that family member host told me I was to bring wine when she knew I

wanted to bring a salad and my homemade dressing. I asked her about that and

she told me she has plenty of others bringing salads. I had requested this last

year even! I should have brought one anyways, with an index card deliciously

describing the ingredients of my dressing!

relationships. Not attending parties because people won't be eating raw, letting

your relationships suffer because of your diet, etc. etc. I have often met raw

foodists that make it almost a part of their personality, almost attention

seeking. If there is a party at work...Bring a dish along and share with others

(you just might convert someone).

Remember that the hallmarks of ON (Orthorexia Nervosa)is that it leads to social

isolation and impaired relationships.
