Guest guest
Right on, Amy! Although sometimes you may run into the occasional 'straight arm' move from a family member who has heard though the grapevine that you are raw. In my case this Easter, that family member host told me I was to bring wine when she knew I wanted to bring a salad and my homemade dressing. I asked her about that and she told me she has plenty of others bringing salads. I had requested this last year even! I should have brought one anyways, with an index card deliciously describing the ingredients of my dressing! -Tiffany miasouza <amydelfinodesouza wrote: I think it's alway important to remember that food is an important part of relationships. Not attending parties because people won't be eating raw, letting your relationships suffer because of your diet, etc. etc. I have often met raw foodists that make it almost a part of their personality, almost attention seeking. If there is a party at work...Bring a dish along and share with others (you just might convert someone). Remember that the hallmarks of ON (Orthorexia Nervosa)is that it leads to social isolation and impaired relationships. Amy
