Guest guest
I know that the group talked about the cost of eating raw or raw organic just recently. Below is a link to an article where the writer compares the cost of eating SAD for a family of 3 vs. eating organic for a family of 3. I thought it was interesting enough to share. http://www.mercola.com/2005/feb/16/organic_food.htm Kindest Regards, Leah New Messenger with Voice. Call regular phones from your PC and save big. Guest guest
Hey, Leah! That was interesting. What impressed me is that she had the non-organic on a seemingly spare diet and the organic still came out less. I think a lot of the money spent on SAD is prepared foods. It might take a little more effort for raw and/or organic but it's worth it. I'd like to see the same comparison done with SAD and raw. Doug Graham says that eating non-organic raw is better than eating organic cooked. I try to get all the organic I can but sometimes it just isn't possible. I have my co-op order coming in Monday, though. YEA!!!
