And there are so many brands of vegetable seeds , can you recommend certain brands to help me narrow down the rows of seed choices. Guest guest Posted April 9, 2006 Report Share Posted April 9, 2006 Bonnie - try www.squarefootgardening.com to start. I LOVE that method of planting and growing. It is not so overwhelming as a garden. I like to grow lettuce, basil, toms, some edible flowers and whatever else my co-op has as starts. I very rarely grow from seed, usually organic nursery starts.
