Guest guest
My wheatgrass book says harvest 9 to 12 days (or 6 to 12 inches tall). Is that 9 to 12 days after I take the lid off when it's about 2 inches tall after the first 3 days (therefore adding 3 days) or from the start? I have already been growing wheatgrass but I haven't been counting the days so I'm not sure. I want to juice a full tray every day. So then I would need either 9 to 12 trays or 12 to 15 trays going at once, so which is it 9-12 or 12-15? I need to buy another grow rack darn it. Mine only holds 8 trays. I'm also having trouble getting water everywhere without over-watering, especially the first one. I do use a sprinkler head. It's causing mold. It's very frustrating! >:-( Please HELP! :-) Minnie

" Meaning, from the very first moment I pour the 4-cups of dry " hard red wheatberries " into the soak pot, it's usually two weeks from them that I can grind some juice. How do I know this? Everytime I " soak " I have a strip of masking tape hanging off the side of the soaker and I put the date on it such as " 2/14/06 " that I consider to be the seeds " DOB " or date of birth. When the seeds have sprouted to the point of planting, I then write that date on the piece of masking tape hanging on the planting tray, thereby " tracking " it's progress. As for the " height " of the grass, mine average about 7 " max. The thing to pay attention to is not the height but when the single grass shoot " splits " into two shoots. Then it's in the timezone for drinking. -- Bill Schoolcraft | http://wiliweld.com " If your life was full of nothing but sunshine, you would just be a desert.
