Guest guest
I use to live in Dever on California Street. We ( my husband & I ) run a non-profit now and we were thinking about starting a few Natural Living / Raw Food groups in the surounding states. We are based in KS now. Your new café would be a great meeting place don't you think? Guest guest
Hi Kimse, I saw your question and wanted to help you. I am a book author on raw food diet (in Japan) and I live in California. I suggest that you break the fast with the right foods according to your previous diet before the fast. If you eat animal foods (dairy, meat, egg, fish) regularly, take no fruits but only green leafy veggie juice (kale, parsley, cucumber, lemon) and later a simple green salad (baby spinach, lemon juice, himalayan salt and a little olive oil.) If you are a vegetarian or eat a very little animal foods, go ahead and break the fast with sweet juicy fruits like grapes (or their juice), fresh figs, oranges and other citrus fruits. Then follow that up with a simple green salad that is consisted of green leafy veggies (70%), cucumber and tomatoes. Do not overeat. The purpose of breaking the fast with the right kind of foods is that it creates the cleansing motion in your intestine so that all the waste materials that have been released in your intestines can be pushed out of the body successfully. Fruit sugars cause much detoxification so if a person is very toxic, it causes too much detoxification and that can be very dangerious. So caution must be taken... Good luch with your fast and if you have any questions, write me back.
