Is veganaise raw?

Leslie, Veganaise is yummy. I used to buy the grapeseed oil variety

by the quart. I e-mailed the company and they assured me that many of

the ingredients are cooked. They did say it's vegan and " good for

you " . I disagree there, but that's the difference between them and me.

Here is Chad Sarno's recipe for Horseradish Creme. It was tangy and

creamy and I could see using it instead of a mayo type spread. He

served it on top of walnut-portobello croquettes with " caramelized "

onion, and it was out of this world!

 

2 c coconut meat (he said you could also substitute extra cashews if

you didn't have coconut)

1/4 c cashew soaked 10-12 hrs

3 T olive oil

1 T lemon juice

1 T agave

2 cloves garlic

2 T fresh horseradish shaved

1 t celtic sea salt

 

In high speed blender, blend all ingredients until smooth, may need

to add water to get desired consistency.
