Spinach in smoothie/romaine

Another thing that's good in a fruit smoothie is romaine. I didn't

like it at all at first but my mistake was discarding the outer tough

leaves. They are the darker green and have a sweeter taste. The heart

is good for salad. I'm no longer throwing the tough leaves on the

compost pile. Those are the ones I " drink " .
