Guest guest
Thanks everyone for the great suggestions and encouragement. I did call and have a salad sent for me. (I paid for it, but I have to eat any way right?) Only one person said, hey what have you got there? I was relieved not to have to discuss life style choices with any one. I do bring my breakfast on donut days, actually every day because I usually eat the banana right about the time I get here. The last comment about smoking was an excellent point! They ate so much, and I heard most of them complain about how bad they felt after. The lunch included three choices for pies, chocolate cream pie, cherry pie and Apple pie. I was the last person to get seated so all THREE pies at right in front of me the whole time. The smell ........ was actually nauseating. When the box for the choc cream was opened the smell was so much worse!! Yuck!! Thankfully changes in smell and taste have started to happen and are replacing the need for will power. Same with eating healthy, as long as you are polite and dont make them feel inferior for eating whatever it is....you should have no problem getting them to accept your choices.
