Guest guest Posted March 29, 2006 Report Share Posted March 29, 2006 i am almost finished with the halvah recipe here are some pictures www.rawtimes.com/pic/halvah1.jpg www.rawtimes.com/pic/halvah2.jpg there are two layers a chocolate layer and a sesame layer 1. the sesame layer is a cup of sesame seeds ground with dry blades in the vitamix and then balled with three tablespoons of honey (or just enough to ball) 2. the chocolate layer is a cup of cocoa beans ground with dry blades in the vitamix and then balled with three tablespoons of honey i have tried the chocolate layer with agave nectar and i think that is the option i will go with it makes the chocolate more moist also, at first i got the whole cocoa beans i then soaked them, peeled them, and then dried them but i can now buy them like that already or at least it seems like a good idea " Raw Sun Dried - Go Chocolate " certified organic whole dried peeled cacoa beans product of mexico use a mold or flat glass tray to flatten two or three layers chill, demold, slice, eat possibly garnish with some jelly lines still working not too late for suggestions? jaear Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
