If you've ever had the chance to make this in high school chemistry you know what I mean. An amount of pure acetylsalicylic acid the size of a pencil eraser is enough to make something like 100 or 300 full strength aspirin tablets but in that state it's certainly nothing you want to ingest. That doesn't negate the fact that it has it's good qualities. I still haven't read enough about vinegar to make up my mind, but I'm not a hard purist, and I also happen to like fermented food so at this point, I'm still using it - although more for flavor than for nutrient.
