Guest guest Posted March 28, 2006 Report Share Posted March 28, 2006 I have had a vitamix for many years and love it. Yes, I have had to learn how to use it for the different things I wanted it for. I also have a mini chopper for those little small amounts I just want chopped. I think I paid less than $10 for it and it does come in handy at times. Would I give up my vitamix.... NO WAY. I had to break once due to something I did and it was so easy to fix and the company rep talked me through the repairs and they paid for the part. Vitamix customer service was the best I have ever seen with any company. I also have an extra container for wet and use it to do compost. I just toss my veggie/fruit scraps into the container and once a day blend them up and spread them on the garden (even in the winter time here in the mountains). Trish Burrows sunflowers2 P.O.
