I have an 9-tray Excalibur dehydrator and have tried making " raw "

potato chips using four different types of potatos, they were not

what I expected, threw some Celtic Sea Salt on them (in despair) and

that helped out a bit... I think to make a raw french fry one would

have to settle for shoestring type and some raw seasoning too.

Did you soak the sliced potatoes before dehydrating? You need to soak them to

remove the starch and then put a bit of lemon juice on them to " cook " the

slices. They become very limp. THEN you put the salt or vinegar on them to

dehydrate.
