I have an 9-tray Excalibur dehydrator and have tried making " raw " potato chips using four different types of potatos, they were not what I expected, threw some Celtic Sea Salt on them (in despair) and that helped out a bit... I think to make a raw french fry one would have to settle for shoestring type and some raw seasoning too. -- Bill Schoolcraft | http://wiliweld.com " If your life was full of nothing but sunshine, you would just be a desert. Guest guest
Did you soak the sliced potatoes before dehydrating? You need to soak them to remove the starch and then put a bit of lemon juice on them to " cook " the slices. They become very limp. THEN you put the salt or vinegar on them to dehydrate.
