Guest guest
At Mon, 27 Mar 2006 it looks like elizabeth roberts composed: > Wow...I had been thinking the same after I sent that through, that maybe I should have stayed silent because if anyone else likes them the way I do, it might trigger the taste memory... and I do hope for that lady's sake that she's been able to get a handle on her eating! > Well Beth, There is sometimes more than what meets the eyes and in the case of food, the getting over of one addiction sometimes just throws one into another without warning. Like some who quit drinking, the joke goes (not really funny but) " I put down the bottle and picked up the fork! " There are people I've met who have given up " alcohol/drugs " only to find themselves now gambling, something they have NEVER done in their lives before! A void is a void is a void, as the saying goes, no matter how it dresses itself. So yes, I do hope the lady who wanted her taste-buds removed has found a healthy balance in life and has plunged out of her food obsession into gambling, sex, drugs etc. It happens so many times.
