Yes here is a big big difference between the old and the new machines. My wife

had the old vitamix with the spout on the bottom and three speeds. Was still in

it's days the best blender. The new one has many features. No spout which I

prefer anyway.

 

I have said it many times. Try Costco and buy it at reduced prices. If you

cannot locate these guys then contact me and I can see if I can contact these

people the next time they show up in Las Vegas. They might ship it directly to

you.

And there's a big difference between what my L'equip cost and what a

VitaMix would cost even at a reduced price. :) Right now, a VitaMix

isn't a priority.
