Guest guest
As a vegetarian herself, I was surprised when she was slightly disparaging about my new way of eating. Well, yesterday she told me that when she gets back from vacation (April 2) she wants to borrow " my best raw cookbooks " and to recommend some recipes she might like. She said she doesn't want to go raw forever and will likely giver herself one day off a week, but she wants to lose some weight and get healthier...I'm thrilled she wants to try it, but I'm worried that she'll give up easy and her " day off " will be her downfall. I know when I go back to cooked (even a bite or so) its all I can think about for awhile. I " just say no " to cooked now all the time. I want to encourage and inspire her (I guess I have already) and I don't want to discourage her by telling her how selective she'll have to be with her food choices, so... Any tips? I've never has the opportunity to mentor someone in raw food... Kristi

Does your mother live in an area that has any raw food restaurants? If she could occasionally go out to eat some great raw food, that would help a lot!
