Guest guest
Sorry Jen! I hope your ankle gets better soon. You will probably feel better with the Naproxen for sure (actually, if you're going to take medicine, I prefer ibuprofen for inflammation and muscle relaxation) Because I am good at coming up with inflammation and muscles spasms, I often use an external application of lavender and geranium essential oils. I used to use just lavender, but I have gravitated to adding geranium oil -- primarily because it seemed indicated when I burned my butt on a stand-pipe in the bathroom (don't ask), and I still have some of the mix left over. I like the smell, and the mix works nicely. Lavender is my first-aid, whatever. I carry it in my handbag. I know how disappointing it is to start the Master Cleanser and then have to stop. My second time, I started, and then had to visit my mother at the beach. I took enough pre-mixed Master Cleanser to get me through the weekend, and they were really cute, putting an empty glass on a plate for me, but THEN my mom made crabcakes (this was pre-raw), and I love crabcakes (am working on a raw vegetable substitute), and, well, I couldn't..... my mom doesn't make crab cakes every day, or every month, or even every year (at least not when I am around) and she didn't get it, and she was recovering from cancer and still made the crab cakes FOR ME... well.... excuses!!!!!!!! So I had to start all over again after four days. What got me through was knowing that I had made the choice on my own. The beautiful thing is that you CAN start over. BTW, I was at a natural foods store today and saw the book Master Cleanser (it was priced at $6.95). I looked through it and found that it contains pretty much enough to get you going on the Master Cleanser. The book I have always recommended contains a lot more information on various dietary and healing techniques-- it appears to me that Burroughs might have written Master Cleanser first, then expanded into Healing for the Age of Englightenment. Interstingly, I noticed that Burroughs addresses vomiting as a possible initial reaction in some people just starting the Master Cleanser (I recall that someone said she had to stop it because she was vomiting) I daresay that reading through one of Burroughs' two books on Master Cleanser would be a good idea before beginning the Master Cleanser -- we can all come up with so many things.... Burroughs addresses just about everything.
