Guest guest
This is an interesting comment (English grammar tee-hee) I found by googling " bay scallops " when I was trying to explain to my room-mate why not to eat scallops: " Also since only the meat of scallops is generally eaten in the United " States, not the digestive tract where toxins accumulate, the danger is " significantly lessened. " I don't get it? If we eat the meat of scallops in other countries than the U.S. will the danger be greater? Actually, (as an English teacher to foreigners -- ESL) I think they are trying to say that, in the U.S., people only eat a certain part of the scallop, whereas, in other countries, people eat more parts... but I could be wrong... perhaps it is safer to eat scallops in the U.S. than in other countries (for some reason) Margaret
