Guest guest
Sherry, would you mind explaining about the " weird goop " ? What does it look like? Is there a color difference between the cream and the goop, and if so what is the change? Does it have a definable smell? (Does it remind you of anything -- like the radiation treatments?) Does there seem to be more goop than there was cream? How do you feel after removing the goop? Noticeably different? Is it immediate or does it take awhile? I'm very interested in this body wrap and my venture to get a kit myself after I learn more about it. Suzy An aside: I am going to take a wild stab here that if the cream is designed for detoxing, it should NOT contain chemical (non organic) ingredients, or it would just be adding to the toxification of the body... right? Guest guest
There is definately a color change and texture change....a lot of it is absorbed into the badages and when you look at the water that comes out of the bandages and the smell...its definately different than the original starting cream. And it works for a few days after application as well as long as you dont take a hot shower. It said something like, not taking a HOT shower (just lukewarm) for a few days to let the cream sit in your pores and then take a hot shower and open up the pores and let the gunk expel itself. I know one thing...due to my graves disease, I have very dry skin. I tired every cream on the market, but my meds just cause dry skin..... But I have noticed that since begining the wraps, my skin is healthier and my husband says I dont have that dry pasty look anymore. SO for me it has worked. i do know that the people who sell this cream will happlily answer any concerns you may have. I told them I was going to mention their cream on here (wanted to make sure it was ok with them first) and they said they would be happy to answer any questions.... email them at: customer_service web site again is www.massagevillage.com Live Simply <sgsikora wrote: Sherry, would you mind explaining about the " weird goop " ? Guest guest
This is interesting I think to many of us. Question - I thought that the things you put onto your skin are absorbed into your blood stream. I was told that we need to put pure oils and creams on our skin. The ingredients in that cream didn't sound pure to me. So that makes me question the cream. Also - I never heard of your skin oozing anything unless you have sores on the top of your skin. Would your skin detox any other way but by sweating? What if we wrapped our arms with ___________?? (coconut oil or some other oil) and then wrapped that in saren wrap. Would that work? What would we use instead of that cream?? Anyone out there with that kind of experience or knowledge? Just wondering and thinking of doing this. I did an Arise and Shine cleanse many years ago and one of the things we had to do was to drink a mixture of bentonite clay and psyllium husk powder. The clay absorbed the liquid that it was mixed in so quickly that it expanded and congealed beyond being drinkable if you waited longer than 10 seconds to drink it! So, that's my guess!
