Guest guest
Here is the original post on that! --Im gonna make it today, " beans " --(nuts) are already soaked and ready to go..... I have a substitute for bean dip that isn't beans at all but almonds. Soak the almonds overnight (or all day if you want to make it in the evening). Drain and put them through a Champion juicer with the blank in place or throw them in the food processor. Add garlic, onion, sea salt, and chili powder to taste. Remember that raw onion and garlic packs a bigger punch than cooked. Process until smooth. Add water to the desired consistency. It's better than if you make it with sprouted beans. It has much the same flavor and " mouth feel " without the beany taste. A friend of mine adds olive oil but it isn't necessary. Guest guest
rawfood , Sherry <dobeythehouseelf wrote: > > Here is the original post on that! - Thank you... I actually had already recorded it, but I didn't know what you were calling " chili beans " , because it was originally posted as something else (not chili beans) I did a search but the name Chili Beans did not turn up, because that is not what Tommie called it in his subject line. -- I think it was posted as " bean dip " It sure would be helpful if we could all keep to the same " names " or " subject lines " . The recipe is in the files, but it is not listed as Chili Beans, rather as Not Bean Dip. Margaret
